Is this to be my last post for a while?  Will my website go down for an extended period, buried under two feet of snow and ice?  Oh the drama.  Honestly I think now that they have officially predicted “the worst snow storm in 50 years,” it is going to miss us for the most part.  You heard it here first;  There will be no significant snowfall in KC.  Just visit www.pkenagy.com for all your weather needs in the future.  I am a remarkable 2 for 6,564,348 predicting rainfall, we’ll see if that accuracy rate holds for snow too.

We went out for dinner last night, mostly because the news is telling us we will be home-bound for the next few days.  We decided on 75th Street, since it’s close and familiar.  Not much detail to go into there…  Uhhhh, we shared a pizza.  A very delicious pizza, as a matter of fact.  I elected to pay the dinner tab with our “points” for once.  They have one of those reward card systems, like darn near everybody else in town, where you earn points for money you spend there.  We’ve had a card for several years and although we don’t go up there that much, we have still managed to amass quite a few dollars.  (For whatever reason we don’t ever cash them in, we just keep saving them for who-knows-what.)  Well, in another one of my bold predictions, I have the feeling the restaurant is struggling a bit.  Wouldn’t it stink to save all those points for years and then walk up one day and the doors are locked?  Add to that the fact that we seem to be perpetually broke lately and I think it’s time to go on a run of free 75th Street dinners.
